If you plan a weekend trip to Barcelona, this fi-tinerary is perfect. It covers the city's best sights, sounds, and tastes in three days. I went in February, which was definitely not beach weather vibes but didn’t hold me back from seeing the best of the city.
Friday
Evening
We started the night out with an all-you-can-eat sushi dinner at Un Bocado, serving various sushi and sashimi dishes. If you are wanting to scale up your dining experience, head to the Michelin-starred restaurant, Koy Shunka. After dinner, we went to Razzmatazz, a two-story club that plays various music genres, including rock, techno, and hip-hop. It's the place to be for dancing and partying until the early morning. If you end up going, try to get there around 1 am and grab your jacket from coat check 45 minutes to an hour before closing.
Saturday
Morning
Saturday is the perfect day to explore the architectural wonders of the city. We began the day by visiting La Pedrera, also known as Casa Mila. This unique building has an appearance that resembles sand, and from the rooftop, you will enjoy a stunning panoramic view of the city. Right next door is Casa Batllo, a colorful and whimsical structure at the city's heart. It's one of Antoni Gaudi's most famous creations!
Next, head over to La Sagrada Familia. This is a must-visit landmark that attracts millions of visitors every year. It's a stunning basilica that combines Gothic and Art Nouveau styles, and it's Gaudi's unfinished masterpiece. For a budget-friendly trip, you can view all three of these spectacles from the outside and get an incredible experience without even stepping foot inside.
Afternoon
After a fruitful morning of sightseeing, head to Bu Class Club for lunch to try the beef carpaccio, papas, and pimientos to savor Spanish cuisine. This lunch spot brings you up the hill to your next attraction. Head to the bunkers in the evening for a breathtaking and unforgettable sunset view of the city. The bunkers are a hidden gem that offers a panoramic view of Barcelona.
Evening
Barcelona has several thrift stores that offer unique and affordable clothing for those who love to shop. Check out the humana in El Raval neighborhood for a thrift shopping spree. Take a break and enjoy a glass of sangria, calamari, and pan con tomate for dinner at a local restaurant.

Morning
This day is best for relaxing and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere of the city. We started the day by visiting the enchanting Park Guell, a UNESCO World Heritage Site boasting picturesque landscapes and captivating city views. Strolling through the park's lush gardens and architectural wonders can make for a peaceful and rejuvenating morning.
Next, explore the Miro Museum, which houses an extensive collection of works by the iconic Catalan artist Joan Miro. The museum's vibrant displays of modern and contemporary art and the artist's signature styles and techniques will leave you in awe.
Afternoon
Afterward, we took a funicular ride to the Montejuic Castle, a historic fortress that offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the sea. The winding paths and lush greenery surrounding the castle make for a refreshing and invigorating hike.
For a late lunch, we headed to La Rambla, a vibrant street filled with restaurants and cafes, and indulged in delicious local cuisine. Afterward, we continued our exploration of the city's eclectic neighborhoods by returning to El Raval, where we couldn’t get enough of the thrift shops and boutiques.
Evening
In the evening, we enjoyed a delectable dinner at Casa Rafols, a popular restaurant that serves delicious sangria blanca, ceviche, and octopus dishes. If you plan to go here, make sure to make reservations. Just a short walk away is the Arc de Triomf, a stunning arch built for the 1888 Universal Exhibition, where you can take a leisurely stroll and admire the city's architectural wonders by night. With so many delightful sights and experiences to enjoy, Sunday is the perfect day to soak up the city's vibrant energy at your own pace.
